1970 Ford Mustang - Grabber Yellow (Ertl American Muscle) 1/18
EASY ORDER INFO HERE
Introduced in '69, the Mach 1 may not have topped the speed of sound, but Ford enthusiasts certainly liked the sound of a standard 351 cid powerplant, or any of the powerful engine options. No "wolf in sheep's clothing," a number of sporty exterior markings reinforced that the car was an all-out animal, including a shaker hood scoop and exclusive side stripe. At the height of the muscle car craze, the 1969 Mustang Mach 1 not only became the performance Mustang, but also a car for the ages.
In 1970, Ford decided to make a "horse of a different color" out of its Mustang, introducing an optio showcasing the new "Grabber" colors - Grabber Blue, Grabber Green, Grabber Orange, and Grabbery Yellow. The new vibrant colors were not only the exclusives to the Grabber Mustang; it also featured a Sports roof and two distinct striping packages. Additional eye-candy on these Mustang models included blackout trim paint and dog-dish hub caps, trim rings and whitewall tires. More than 5,000 of these special Mustang models were "grabbed up" by eager Ford fans!
