EASY ORDER INFO HERE
The "Origins of Speed" collection features 1/18th scale die cast 1929 Ford Model A roadster bodies on 1932 Ford frames. Based on the first "hot rods" that originated out of southern California in the mid-1930's through the late 1940's, this limited series of eight releases faithfully reproduce the early days of automotive high performance.
This Black primered #33 B replicates a 4-Cylinder late ‘30’s - early ‘40’s Dry Lakes’ racer, with the following features: Riley 4-port OHV head, dual Winfield carburetors, “Wico” magneto ignition. “lakes pipe” exhaust header, open engine compartment (hood top, side curtains removed), chrome radiator rods, removed windshield and headlights, ’39 “teardrop” taillights, aluminum surplus aircraft seats, Bell steering wheel, (optional) racing tonneau cover, Halibrand “quick-change” rear end, Kelsey-Hayes 16-inch “bent-spoke” wire wheels, vintage tires. All typical and highly accurate for the time period.
Includes stainless steel "timing tag" and 8-page historical booklet.
