1969 Plymouth GTX Street Machine - Chrome Chase Car (Ertl) 1/18
![]() Although the '69 GTX received only minor cosmetic changes from the previous year (why change a good thing?!), it came with a number of engine options that made the car even more of a terror on the streets than its standard 375 hp 440. To harness all the horsepower, the GTX came with a heavy-duty suspension, brakes and shocks. Inside, owners were treated to an interior that included a deluxe steering wheel and speedometer with readings up to 150 mph! The '69 GTX left no doubt it was the "cream of the crop" in the Plymouth Belvedere line.
