Based on the first "hot rods" that originated out of southern California in the mid-1930's through the late 1940's, this limited series of eight releases faithfully reproduce the early days of automotive high performance.
This Washington Blue Ford Model 'A' replicates a late 1930s Street racer with the following modifications: Ford model A 4-cylinder engine with Riley 2-port OHV cyl. head, Mallory distributor ignition, tubular exhaust header with muffler & tailpipe, louvered hood with removed side curtains, raked 29 Ford windshield, frame-mounted 32 Ford headlights; 39 Ford teardrop taillights, stock 29 interior, seat, 39 Ford Banjo" steering wheel, 1939 Ford rear axle assembly, stock Ford wire wheels, plain hubcaps, and vintage tires. All typical and highly accurate for the time period.
Includes stainless steel "timing tag" and 8-page historical booklet.
