EASY ORDER INFO HERE

The "Origins of Speed" collection features 1/18th scale die cast 1929 Ford Model A roadster bodies on 1932 Ford frames. Based on the first "hot rods" that originated out of southern California in the mid-1930's through the late 1940's, this limited series of eight releases faithfully reproduce the early days of automotive high performance.

This Washington Blue Ford Model 'A' replicates a late 1930’s Street racer with the following modifications: Ford model “A” 4-cylinder engine with Riley 2-port OHV cyl. head, Mallory distributor ignition, tubular exhaust header with muffler & tailpipe, louvered hood with removed side curtains, raked ‘29 Ford windshield, frame-mounted ’32 Ford headlights; ’39 Ford “teardrop” taillights, stock ’29 interior, seat, ’39 Ford “Banjo" steering wheel, 1939 Ford rear axle assembly, stock Ford wire wheels, plain hubcaps, and vintage tires. All typical and highly accurate for the time period.

Includes stainless steel "timing tag" and 8-page historical booklet.
