The Lamborghini Countach, designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, debuted at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show and caused a sensation unlike anything before it. The scissor doors, aggressive wedge shape, and massive rear wing defined the supercar aesthetic for a generation. The name 'Countach' is Piedmontese dialect for an exclamation of astonishment — the reaction of the designer when he first saw the full-size clay model. Produced until 1990, the Countach remains the archetypal supercar poster car.
This 1/18 scale replica of the Lamborghini Countach in White is produced by Bburago to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: Bburago Diecast Model No. 12027.
