The Porsche Cayenne, launched in 2002 and built on the Volkswagen Group's PL71 platform shared with the Volkswagen Touareg and Audi Q7, was deeply controversial among Porsche purists but spectacularly successful commercially. Cayenne profits funded the development of the Carrera GT and later the Panamera. Today the Cayenne Turbo GT, producing 640 horsepower, is one of the fastest SUVs in the world.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 2003 Porsche Cayenne in Blue, Metallic is produced by Maisto to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle.
