American muscle cars of the 1960s and early 1970s represent the high-water mark of factory-built performance in automotive history. Insurance surcharges, emissions regulations, and the 1973 oil crisis combined to end the original muscle car era almost overnight. Today these vehicles are among the most actively collected American automobiles, with exceptional examples regularly achieving six-figure prices at major auctions.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1971 Dodge Demon in Racing is produced by Ertl Racing Champions to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle.
