The Dodge Challenger arrived in 1970 to compete in the pony car segment, offering Mopar's full performance arsenal including the 426 Hemi and 440 Six Pack. The 1970 Challenger T/A — a homologation special for the SCCA Trans Am series — is among the rarest and most valuable first-generation Challengers. The Challenger nameplate was revived in 2008 with retro styling that deliberately echoed the 1970 original.
