In keeping with our tradition of bringing you the very best we are pleased to announce the unveiling of the 1970 Superbird driven by Roger McCLuskey. The latest addition to our Mopar "Winged Warrior" series represents the car that McCluskey drove on the USAC Stock Car tour from 1970-1972. This certain model represents the 1971 Season.
During his career McCluskey compiled a very impressive record. It consisted of 4 USAC midget wins, 23 USAC sprint car with 2 national titles to go with it, 5 USAC Indy car wins including the 1973 National Championship. He also earned back to back USAC Stock Car crowns in 1969 and 1970. Roger was well on his way to winning a third straight title until a blown tire put the Superbird he was driving into the wall 17 laps from the finish line. All 23 of McCluskey's Stock Car wins were behind the wheel of Chrysler products, all but one of them were hemi powered.
