The Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 of 1970 produced 450 horsepower in LS6 form — making it one of the most powerful production cars of the muscle car era. The Chevelle nameplate ran from 1964 to 1977, with the 1969–1972 period considered the performance peak. The 1970 LS6 Chevelle is considered by many collectors to be the ultimate expression of the American muscle car.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle in Red is produced by Welly to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: Welly Diecast Model No. 9866 - '68 Chevrolet SS 396.
