The AMC Rebel Machine was fast! It has AMC's biggest engine in the 390 V-8. The first 100 "Machines" delivered from the AMC factory in Kenosha, Wisconsin were finished in white. Hurst Performance Products painted the lower beltline stripes and hood in blue and then added red stripes on the upper body sides. Special "The Machine" emblems were tacked on the front fender sides.
