The 1938 Ford was a favorite model for fire fighting vehicles. It was equipped with a modified V-8 Engine and was the first vehicle that was furnished with the "One Tonner." This medium-sized truck also featured a number of body changes, such as brand new large oval grille, styled fenders and headlights, bringing power, maneuverability and style to the fire fighter and his station and dept.
