The Honda NSX, developed with input from Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna during testing at Suzuka in 1989, was engineered to provide supercar performance without supercar temperament. All-aluminum construction, a mid-mounted VTEC V6, and power-assisted steering tuned for feedback rather than isolation produced a car that could be driven daily. The NSX remained in production for 15 years with minimal changes — a testament to how right the original design was.
