Based on the first "hot rods" that originated out of southern California in the mid-1930's through the late 1940's, this limited series of eight releases faithfully reproduce the early days of automotive high performance.
This Black primered #33 B replicates a 4-Cylinder late 30s - early 40s Dry Lakes racer, with the following features: Riley 4-port OHV head, dual Winfield carburetors, Wico magneto ignition. lakes pipe exhaust header, open engine compartment (hood top, side curtains removed), chrome radiator rods, removed windshield and headlights, 39 teardrop taillights, aluminum surplus aircraft seats, Bell steering wheel, (optional) racing tonneau cover, Halibrand quick-change rear end, Kelsey-Hayes 16-inch bent-spoke wire wheels, vintage tires. All typical and highly accurate for the time period.
