Casting away styling of the late 50s and the beginning of the new decade, Dodge made dramatic styling changes to their "S-Series" cars from 1962 on. The proportions of the cars were drastically altered, with shortened rear decks and lengthened hoods, emphasizing front-end styling. Tail fins were gone for good, and other other new styling treatments included gracefully sculptered body sides and curved side glass. A new "dog bone" grille was added that opened on each end to circular cowls that housed the low-beam headlights, a recurrent theme that continued on full-size Dodge cars until 1968. The 1964 330 Series, although the lowest priced of standard sized sedans of the Dodge line, benefited greatly from these engineering and styling updates.

American muscle cars of the 1960s and early 1970s represent the high-water mark of factory-built performance in automotive history. Insurance surcharges, emissions regulations, and the 1973 oil crisis combined to end the original muscle car era almost overnight. Today these vehicles are among the most actively collected American automobiles, with exceptional examples regularly achieving six-figure prices at major auctions.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1964 Dodge in Red is produced by Highway 61 to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle.
