For 1968, the Pontiac Firebird's styling was barely changed from the previous year's model. Perhaps the most notable change was the deletion of the side vent windows, which gave way to the new concept of "Astro Ventilation." Other significant differences included new, wraparound turn signals underneath the front bumper and arrowhead shaped side marker lights on the rear quarter panels.
