The Ford Galaxie was Ford's full-size performance flagship through the 1960s. The 427 cubic inch engine option, introduced in 1963, was a NASCAR homologation special that produced 410–425 horsepower and dominated stock car racing. Galaxie 500s with the 427 are among the most sought-after Ford muscle cars, particularly the lightweight drag racing variants with fiberglass body panels.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1964 Ford Galaxie is produced by SunStar to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: SunStar Diecast Model No. 1448.
