The Pontiac Bonneville began as a limited-production performance convertible in 1957 and evolved into one of Pontiac's premier full-size offerings. The name came from the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, invoking the land-speed racing heritage. Through the 1960s, the Bonneville was Pontiac's flagship, offered with a range of engines including the 428 cubic inch V8.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1959 Pontiac Bonneville in Blue, Metallic is produced by SunStar Platinum to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: SunStar Platinum Diecast Model No. 5181.
