The Chevrolet El Camino blended car styling with pickup utility in a formula that proved surprisingly enduring — surviving from 1959 to 1987. Built on Chevelle and later Malibu platforms, the performance El Caminos with SS packages and big-block engines are considered genuine muscle cars by collectors despite their car-truck hybrid nature.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1970 Chevrolet El Camino in Red, Black is produced by Welly to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: Welly Diecast Model No. 2543 or 12543 - '70 Chevrolet SS454 Super Sport El Camino.
