The Jaguar XK120, introduced in 1948, used the legendary twin-cam XK engine that would power Jaguar racing cars through the 1950s and 1960s. The '120' referred to its top speed in miles per hour — a claim verified publicly at Jabbeke in Belgium in 1949. The XK120 won the Alpine Rally outright in 1948 and 1949, establishing Jaguar's motorsport credentials. Just over 12,000 were produced across roadster, fixed-head coupe, and drophead coupe body styles.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 2006 Jaguar Xk in Blue is produced by AUTOart to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: AUTOart Diecast Model No. 73637.
