The Ford Torino, introduced for 1968, was the sportier companion to the Fairlane. The Torino Cobra and Torino GT variants with 428 Cobra Jet or 429 Super Cobra Jet engines are true muscle car royalty. The 1969 Talladega — a limited-production aerodynamic special for NASCAR — had a distinctive flush grille and extended nose and remains one of the rarest and most valuable Torinos.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1976 Ford Torino in Silver is produced by Ertl to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: Ertl Diecast Model No. 79135 or 33415.
