The Chevrolet® C-65 Series set the standard for short-cab trucks in the mid 1970s. The 97-1/2" BBC (Bumper-to-Back-of-Cab) allowed bigger payload, longer body or trailer, good weight distribution and ease of maneuvering. Short-hood design aided down-front visibility as well, and put the 230 horsepower, 427 V-8 engine components within easy reach for maintenance and repair. As lasting tribute to the rugged engineering of the Chevy C-65 and GMC version 6500 Sierra model, many of these trucks are still on the job today!
The Highway 61 Collectibles Chevy® C-65 is a highly-detailed 1:16 replica over 18-1/2" long. Features include steerable front wheels, opening hood and doors, fully plumbed and wired 427 'big-block' V-8 engine, soft mudflaps, chains and binders to secure loads.

American muscle cars of the 1960s and early 1970s represent the high-water mark of factory-built performance in automotive history. Insurance surcharges, emissions regulations, and the 1973 oil crisis combined to end the original muscle car era almost overnight. Today these vehicles are among the most actively collected American automobiles, with exceptional examples regularly achieving six-figure prices at major auctions.

This 1/16 scale replica of the 1975 Chevrolet in Yellow is produced by Highway 61 to collector-grade specifications. The 1/16 scale format is ideal for display and collecting. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle.
