The Chevrolet Corvette is America's sports car, introduced in 1953 and continuously produced ever since — a record unmatched by any American sports car. The C1 (1953–1962) established the fiberglass body, the C2 Sting Ray (1963–1967) introduced independent rear suspension and the iconic split-window coupe, and the C3 (1968–1982) brought the shark body. Each generation represents a distinct era of American performance history, with the 1967 L88 427 and 1969 ZL1 among the most valuable examples.
This 1/18 scale replica of the 1982 Chevrolet Corvette in Silver is produced by Welly to collector-grade specifications. At 1/18 scale — the most popular collector scale — the model measures approximately 10 inches in length and displays beautifully on a shelf or in a glass cabinet. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle.
