The '70 Chevy Chevelle SS454 was the ultimate performance machine. The 454 started at 360 horsepower and ended with the LS6 at a drop-dead 450 horses, pure muscle. The LS6 was Chevrolet's most serious big-block in its most serious muscle car. Sub-14 second ETs at over 100 MPH were routine. It came packaged in a restyled Chevelle body for 1970 and when dressed in SS garb, made the car look even more street tough.
