The Pontiac Firebird and its twin, the Chevrolet Camaro, shared a platform from 1967 onward but developed distinct personalities. The Trans Am variant, introduced in 1969, became the definitive performance Firebird. The 1977–1981 'Bandit' Trans Am — immortalized by Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit — became a cultural phenomenon, with the black-and-gold Special Edition among the most recognizable American cars of the era.
This 1/24 scale replica of the 1967 Pontiac Firebird in Blue is produced by Welly to collector-grade specifications. The 1/24 scale format produces a model approximately 7 inches in length — large enough to show detail clearly while compact enough to display multiples in a collection. Every detail — from paint finish to badging — is reproduced from measurements taken from the original vehicle. Manufacturer reference number: Welly Diecast Model No. 22502.
